We aim to collect the minimum amount of personal data. From you, we receive:

• Name entered when lighting a candle or requesting a prayer. This is displayed publicly in the chapel.
• Prayer Intention (optional). Shown publicly in the chapel.
• Email (optional, via the contact form), used solely to reply to your inquiry.
• Payment details (amount and time of transaction), technical info used to match orders. Card numbers and bank details are handled securely by our payment provider; we do not store them.
• Technical data: anonymized analytics (Google Analytics 4), IP address (in server logs), and browser type. Used for security and statistics.

• To display active candles and prayers in the 3D chapel (names and intentions are publicly visible).
• To process payments and match transactions with orders.
• To reply to inquiries submitted via the contact form.
• To optimize the platform by analyzing site usage and resolving bugs.

• Candles: Names and intentions are shown publicly for the active duration (12 to 168 hours), plus 12 hours as a candle stub, then archived internally for reporting.
• Contact Form messages: up to 12 months from the last interaction.
• Payment records: stored as required by local tax and financial laws (up to 3 years).
• Analytics: Google Analytics default configuration (14 months).

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• Our payment provider, to process secure payments.
• Google Analytics, for anonymized visitor statistics.
• Hosting provider, for secure database storage.

Depending on your location and regulations (such as GDPR), you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we store about you
• Correct inaccurate data (e.g. typos in names)
• Request deletion of your data (excluding mandatory tax/payment logs)
• Object to data processing
• File an inquiry with a local data protection authority
