Terms of Service

The Chapel of Light provides the following virtual services:

• Lighting a virtual candle in the 3D chapel with a prayer intention
• Submitting names to be read during Sunday services
• Access to live streamed services
• Access to the spiritual library (free of charge)

These services are purely spiritual in nature and do not constitute medical, psychological, or financial advice.

To order services, the user must be at least 18 years of age or have permission from a parent or guardian. General access and viewing of the website is open to all.

• Payments are made via secure online card payment. You confirm the payment transaction yourself.
• Services are activated automatically once matching is complete (usually within a minute or two).
• If a paid amount does not match the requested order amount, the service cannot be auto-activated. In this case, please contact us.
• Prices are listed in local currencies or configurations and include all applicable taxes.
• Immediate digital delivery. A candle or prayer is a digital service delivered the instant your payment is confirmed. By completing payment you expressly consent to the service beginning at once and acknowledge that, once the candle is lit, no cancellation or withdrawal right applies. Refunds are limited to the cases set out in our Refund Policy. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the law of your own country.

By using the chapel, you agree:

• Not to use the platform to promote hatred, harassment, advertising, or spam
• Not to include profanity, political slogans, or fraudulent links in prayer intentions
• Not to bypass the payment matching system or exploit technical vulnerabilities
• To respect other users praying alongside you

We reserve the right to remove any messages or candles violating these guidelines without a refund.

Refund conditions are outlined in our Refund Policy. Because we process transfers manually, refunds must be requested via our contact form.

• The platform is provided on an 'as is' basis. We do not guarantee continuous uptime or absence of technical interruptions.
• We are not liable for spiritual, medical, or financial outcomes of prayer. Prayer is an act of faith, not a guaranteed service outcome.
• In the event of a payment mismatch, we will either manually activate your service or issue a full refund.

The design, code, graphics, and text on this site belong to the Chapel of Light. Scripture and traditional prayers are in the public domain. Copying for personal prayer use is permitted; commercial use requires separate consent.

The Chapel of Light is operated by an independent sole proprietor ([Operator legal name / registration — TODO: fill in]). These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of registration. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protection you are entitled to under the law of your own country of residence.

We ask that any dispute first be raised directly with us through the contact form so we can resolve it quickly. Matters that cannot be settled this way may be referred to the competent courts at the operator's place of registration.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material updates will be announced 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
